David Wheeler, Tennessee
David had us laughing and loving the senior stage of life in 2023. It is an honor and a privilege to have him return in 2026 and encourage his peers with what he calls the best chapter of life!
Raised a preacher's kid, he followed suit. He served as a minister to several congregations for over 40 years before becoming a professor in the School of Congregational Ministry at Johnson University in TN, where he retired in 2021. He loves the arts and is committed to promoting the use of drama in churches.
In this next chapter of life, he is passionate about influencing the next generation. He and his wife, Cathy, of over 50 years, were powerfully impacted by attending the "Grandparenting Matters!" seminar presented by the Legacy Coalition. They are both honored and thrilled to use their retirement years to motivate, inform, and provide resources to thousands of "grand people" to be intentional Christian "Grands" to young people in their influence.
